I downloaded "Prying Eyes" for two reasons: 1) I like short books I can finish in a few sittings. 2) I like reading new authors, you never know when you run into a diamond in the rough. And this turned out to be a diamond.I was completely entertained from start to finish and could hardly put it down. The main character has an ability we all wish we could have - to read people's memories. The US Government and the Russian mob want that ability too. Bobby is a friend and the muscle. Fuller is an NSA agent who combines forces with Bobby to save the main character from the clutches of a sadistic Russian arms dealer.
The suspense is great and the premise is perfect for sci-fi thriller/adventure.
I don't want to mention to much because I don't want to give anything away!
I would put up-coming author JJ Klein in the same realm as Lee Child and James Patterson... with fast paced reads and purely entertaining stories. I can't wait for book 2. This idea would make for a great movie or TV series.

I loved this book. I decided to read it just a few minutes before going to bed and couldn't put it down. I read the entire book.
The suspense was great. The story grabs your attention and holds you there. You want more.
Buy the book you will be glad you did. I can't wait until the next one.
